This match culminates with Mankind getting slammed through the cell, falling 16 feet and being knocked unconscious. It helped pace Mankind’s career as a main event wrestler, showing he could take a real beating. Video clips of Undertaker throwing Mankind through the cell roof and to the mat below (this was an unplanned “bump”) are among the most popular in wrestling history. To this day, Mankind cannot remember long stretches of the match, showing just how real it was.
